ahahahahhaha! But yeah, this is the time where we should rejoice. Why?
Because, as Joseph's dad said,
"In a crisis, we see who Christ is."
WOOOHOOOO! I think thats a super cool catchphrase-y thingy. ahahahah!
Well, why rejoice? We should rejoice, because we will see more souls saved. We should rejoice because people will run to God. We should rejoice because WHEN God saves all of those who have Faith in Him, His wonderous glory will be seen in all of the earth. We should rejoice because the this is the time when the world suddenly seems dim and your eyes will be cleared to see the amazing saving grace of God=]
It may seem evil, or mean, or whatever, but when my youth church leader told us to pray for the people who may be threatened to lose their jobs, i didnt feel right. I felt super uncomfortable. And i realised that I wanted to see those people, who have been working their lives away, neglecting their wives and husbands, neglecting their children, neglecting parents, neglecting friends and worst of all, neglecting God.
Our society has been blessed with physical riches, such as money and blah, but we've all started to die inside, we've stopped listening to God once life got comfortable, we started to ignore Him once we had money, once we led peaceful lives, forgetting that all that was given to us was and is and will be from God.
This was when i kinda, well, wanted God to take the jobs away from those people, those people who've lost sight of everything except money and riches, those people who have let their heart die, those whove turned their back on those whove called out to them. Sounds evil, but i feel so at ease with that, that it's what God will do. And i admit, i do fear for my parents too, but when it comes, i know God will be with us and He will provide as long as we trust Him. Besides, Singapore has loads of grass to feed on!=DD
I guess why i decided to post this today was to give those who think that theyve lost hope, Hope. not hope, Hope. One that comes from Jesus Christ our Saviour.
What are you working hard for?
Why? For whom?
If you want money to enjoy, when is the "enjoy" part ever going to come when you dont stop?
If you want a future, studying doesnt always lead to one.
If you want love, humans are just never enough.
If you want rest, sleeping is just temporary.
If you want, theres only One who can satisfy.
Money; I remember God telling me when i looked at my last few notes in my wallet and feeling the worry of not having enough to use,"Its just paper, when it burns, it turns into ash. What i have is eternal provision, it'll never burn, never."
Do you still want money? Rejoice.
